Tasting Notes: This white wine from the Touraine AOC in the Loire Valley, France, made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc. Touraine is known for producing lively, dry white wines with fresh citrus and fruit character. This one in particular is attractively aromatic with plenty of exotic fruit and hints of gooseberry, lime and a touch of mint on the nose. On the palate, fresh and tangy with a lively, zesty character and a fruity, moreish finish.

Producer Patrick Vauvy manages around 30 ha of vines, with Sauvignon Blanc dominating. He often harvests later than many in the region to achieve ripe fruit character, leading to wines that are fruit-driven and immediately appealing.
