Tasting Notes: Ruby-red in colour, this elegant and expressive wine offers intense aromas of blackberries, cassis, and currants, quickly followed by layers of cinnamon, black pepper, and tobacco leaf. As the wine opens in the glass, subtle hints of mocha and cherry emerge, adding depth and complexity. On the palate, it is well-balanced and full-bodied, with soft tannins and fresh acidity that contribute to an impressive structure and suggest excellent ageing potential. 100% was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels from 2nd to 5th use
