Grape(s): Siegerrebe, Schonberger, Muller thurgau
Wine Region: Cornwall
Tasting notes: A pale green wine, it has intense perfumed aromas of rose petal, lychee and citrus zest. The palate does not disappoint, showing superb complexity of flavour, citrusy with a characteristic spiciness to finish. Trevannion 2019 is medium bodied and smooth, with an off dry finish and great length.
Winemakers notes: This is the first time since 2016 that we have been able to make this wine. Its aromatic blend of Siegerrebe, Schonberger and Muller Thurgau. The grapes were fermented cool separately in stainless steel tanks to retain the natural fruit aromas and flavours. The wines were left to age on lees for 5 months before a blend was decided upon. This was then bottled mid April. Serve at 10-12c.
Food Pairing: A versatile food friendly wine, perfectly suited to a wide range of cuisines.
