Bodegas Alceño has been at the heart of Jumilla winemaking since 1870, making it one of the oldest producers in the region. Now run by Familia Bastida, the winery combines modern techniques with deep respect for Jumilla’s traditions and rugged terrain. Their vineyards are sustainably farmed on stony, calcareous and sandy-clay soils, where low rainfall and bush-trained vines produce concentrated fruit full of character. Hand-harvested grapes are fermented with indigenous yeasts to preserve the natural identity of the land.
