Tasting Notes: Taittinger Nocturne is a smooth, rich “Sec” champagne, made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, aged for four years with a 17.5g/l sugar dosage. Its pale yellow colour and delicate bubbles lead to a subtle bouquet of yellow peaches and dried apricots. On the palate, it offers creamy smoothness with flavours of raisins and syrupy fruits, finishing with a long, sweet, and flavourful finish.

Suggested food and wine pairing: Perfect for late-night enjoyment, it pairs beautifully with desserts or foie gras on gingerbread, making it an ideal choice for celebrating.

Nocturne de Taitinger, a Champagne for the after eight!

We tasted it for the first time before Xmas, It struck us that a little sweetness can go a long way. Far from being a "Demi Sec" it is a dry champagne for the evening. It has a slight sweet approach in the mouth, that makes it impressivly more versatile. It is however still full of flavour. We loved it, and will consume few of it, but will appreciate them even more. Thank you to the team for introducing us to that gorgeous wine, C+A
