The oldest Pinot Noir vines at the Hanewald-Schwerdt estate grows in the Leistadter Kalkofen on small terraces. Low yielding, hand harvested grapes and aged in new french oak barrels for 24 month.
The family owned and operated estate Hanewald-Schwerdt was founded in 1955 in Leistadt.
