Tasting Notes: Beautiful deep ruby colour, with slightly pink edge and deep red core. On the nose, round, full with black fruit flavours of black cherries, plums and blueberries. Very expressive. Palate is well balanced with fruits of the forest, spice, black pepper, dark chocolate and coffee. Wine shows well on the finish with good presence of acidity and medium to high tannins, which indicate good longevity. Well-structured with good body.

Suggested food and wine pairing: Pair with raised beef shank, roasted red meats, game, hard cheeses, or dishes with earthy components like truffle or wild mushroom risotto.
