Tasting Notes: A vibrant garnet-red wine with purple hues, showing beautiful depth in the glass. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of forest fruits — think ripe blackberries and wild blueberries — layered with black liquorice, vanilla, and a touch of nutmeg from careful barrel ageing. The palate is silky and well-balanced, combining ripe tannins with the wine’s signature freshness. The finish is long and persistent, leaving elegant notes of red fruits and sweet spice that linger beautifully.

The Producer: Viña Real is crafted from grapes grown in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, where winemaking is a centuries-old tradition passed down through generations. The Crianza comes from our own vineyards in Laguardia and from long-trusted local growers. These small plots sit between 400 and 650 metres above sea level, with diverse soils and aspects that bring depth and character to the wine. The oldest vines are bush-trained, while younger ones are Cordon Royat pruned. All grapes are harvested by hand, ensuring only the best fruit reaches the cellar.
