Belleville Rully La Cree Blanc
Type: White Wine
Grape(s): Chardonnay
Wine Region: Burgundy, France
Tasting Notes: : Nice pale gold in colour with a pleasant nose of toasted and buttery aromas. In the mouth, a touch of liveliness, this wine is big and rich with nice toasted bread notes on the finish. Nice complexity too. "La Crée" refers to a stony slope, a stony plot of land and serves as a reminder of a former quarry. Situated to the east of the village of Rully, the "La Crée" Climat was disassociated from the "La Pucelle" Climat, classed as a Premier Cru. 12 months barrel ageing.
Domaine Belleville was created in Rully at the beginning of the 20th century, in the heart of the wine-making Burgundy. With 22 hectares of vineyards spread out from North to South Burgundy, Domaine Belleville offers the all range of distinctiveness proposed by both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grape varieties.
Suggested food and wine pairing: Pairs beautifully with lobster, roast chicken, mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses like Comté.
