The donkey is the metaphor of ancient culture and vineyard traditions. The progress of generations of farmers that have made La Rioja great and famous cannot be understood without the help of this animal in field tasks. Forgotten and mistreated, the donkey is a species that was in danger of extinction. Its transit is similar to that of the red Maturana grape, a very minority and exclusive variety from La Rioja that fights not to disappear and that in its duel with modern life, gives us red wines as special as the single-varietal Rebuzno.
