A blend of Cinsault and Grenache which combine into a flurry of peach, strawberry and spring fruit flavours held firm by a smack of acidity.
Chateau St-Pierre has been in the same family for four generations. The domaine is farmed in a sustainable fashion.
Var is a large wine producing area which encompasses Provence and Bandol. It is classified as IGP, which is the same as the more well-known Vin de Pays (VdP). Var is famed for producing excellent value Rose wines similar in style to Provence.
