A lovely bright Shiraz from Victoria aged in French oak. Bramble fruits and just a hint of mint. Great barbecue wine, delicious served with a light chill to further enhance the bright fruit.
The Embers Sauvignon Blanc shows plenty of varietal fruits in the kiwi fruit, lemon grass, passionfruit and lime spectrum. Complemented by the tropical passionfruit aromatics of Sauvignon Blanc.
The Embers Cabernet Sauvignon was made in a soft, fruit driven, unpretentious and easy drinking style. It has beautiful aromas of violets, juicy red and black fruits with chocolate and some cedar. Medium bodied with soft fruit and a fine tannin structure.
The nose displays nectarine, pear and melon fruits that combine with honeysuckle notes derived from the older oak and lees. The palate is full flavoured with ripe tropical fruits and butterscotch notes. Extended lees contact in barrel and tank has added weight and mouthfeel to the palate.
