Pale straw yellow wine with soft greenish reflections. The intense, rich, non cloying scent is reminiscent of yellow pepper, banana, melon, sage. The taste is dry with soft, warm, velvety, elegant, pleasantly aromatic with a good structure. The wine is then aged for 3-4 months in stainless steel tanks, taking particular care in the preservation of the "fine lees", with frequent bâtonnage (stirring).

Monviert is a family owned and run winery in Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC (NE Italy). The vines are managed using the 'integrated struggle' method, which respects the balance of the plants and minimizes the use of chemicals.

Suggested food and wine pairing:Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with spicy dishes that can compete with its aroma. Also perfect with blue or medium-aged cheeses. Great wine with shellfish, scampi, lobster.
