Deep burnt coppery colour with lighter amber highlights and good clarity. The pour produces a tall, foamy, light tan head. The nose is full and rich. There are solid notes of caramel and bready maltiness. As in the aroma the flavor has nice caramel/bready maltiness and noble spicy/floral hops in good balance with a slight edge to the malt. In the finish it quickly fades to dryer mellow hop bitterness.
