Wine - Germany

The production of German wine is quite unique, with cooler temperatures and less available sun; the majority of wines produced tend to be white varieties.

Despite the lower temperatures, German wine is renowned for being fruity and very elegant. The long ripening period allows the grapes to develop their natural sugar content, and it’s by balancing the sugar and acidity that German winemakers are able to create some incredibly delicious wines.
