Jamie says: "Douro is rightly famous for its red wines but it also make some fantastic white wines but these tend to get over-looked.  As with most Portuguese wines, Contraste has some different grape varities from the norm - but don't let that put you off.  Let it catch your interest and desire to find out more!  Contraste shows some real ripe fruit with a hint of oak and oodles of minerality and freshness to balance it out and make it interesting.  The length on this wine is fantastic.  Production of this wine is very limited - considerably fewer than 1000 cases - in my book Contraste is a real bargain."
