Jamie says: "This wine comes from the Magdalenenkreuz vineyard in the Rheingau village of Rudesheim (who said German wine labels were confusing?!).  The Rheingau is produces possibly the noblest style of wine in Germany as it brings together the floral aromatics with great depth and minerality.  This wine is Spatlese which literally means late harvest and this offering from Leitz has zesty lemon and lime flavours.  Goes well with spicey food or on its own.  For a real combo try it with cheese!"
