High praise indeed. The vintage may have moved on but the Domaine de Villargeau is still an excellent wine and represents astonishing value for the money. The 2010 is very classic Loire with lots of minerality and fantastic structure balanced with that fantastic acidity. The Coteaux de Giennois is starting to become increasingly recognised as an area where fantastic quality wines are being made and Domaine de Villargeau are probably the leading quality producer in the area."
