Jamie says: "The best young Valpolicella is used and fermented in tank with the lees from the Recioto. The Campi Magri Ripasso shows real depth of flavour (morello cherry and notes of chocolate) but with a finesse and lightness of touch I have not encountered in any other Ripasso wines, which feel a little 'clunky' in comparison. Marinella practices organic viticulture and was awarded the prestigous 'Winemaker of the Year' in 2008 by Gambero Rosso."
