Relatively soft and round the 2004 Corbaia shows polished, ripe tannins enveloping a core of dark cherries, licquorice, leather and spice. Corbaia 2004 displays a graceful elegance that comes to life on the long, harmonious finish. The 2004 Corbaia is 70% Sangiovese and 30% Merlot that also spent two years in Allier oak barrels. It is approachable now and will drink well for around 10 years more."
