Jamie says: "Chateau Rousseau de Sipian is nestled in amongst properties such as La Tour de By and Patache d'Aux. It's an impressive chateau which includes a 9 hectare plot of vines.  Since 2000 Rousseau de Sipian has been in British ownership, having been purchased by father and son team Roy and Christopher Racey who have returned it to its 19th Century splendour and are making great steps towards ensuring quality moves upwards.  Chateau Rousseau de Sipian so has an average vine age of 25 years, including some old vines which were preserved. The vines, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot, dig their roots into Garonne gravel, harvesting is done by hand and this all goes to create great quality Medoc at a fantastic price.  Oddbins sell the 2004 vintage 75cl for £16.99 - consider this a fantastic bargain!"
