Jamie says: "Canada is producing some really top quality wines nowadays but unfortunately only a tiny amount makes its way over here.  On recent tastings I have found them to be more Burgundian in character than many Burgundies!  This wine has really pure fruit character with a nice lick of minerality running through the middle.  Ripe, generous fruits with good structure provided by delightfully ripe tannins.  All this and the fruit comes from vineyards which are certified organic too!  Le Clos Jordanne is a joint venture betweena Canadian outfit and Boisset of Nuits Saint Georges."
