Loire
The Loire region of France produces some great red and white wines Alongside the usual supects of Sancerre, Pouilly Fume et al I've got some really good under the radar stuff here too. The Domaine des Trottieres Anjou rouge is a great example of how good Loire reds can be and the Domaine de Villargeau wines are great value alternatives to Sancerre and Pouilly Fume. Well, the Domaine de Villargeau Sauvignon Blanc 2009 is not really under the radar as much now due to the fact that it won a Trophy at the International Wine Challenge for Best Value White between £6 and £10!
